Fast Demagnetization and Vibration Reduction in Switched Reluctance Motor Drive System

In this paper, a Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) drive system is proposed to make trade-off between torque profile and vibration amplitude. the system, power factor correction fast demagnetization are achieved using single-phase Vienna rectifier as front-end converter for SRMs with nominal voltage equal half DC-link voltage. The three-level provides doubled negative in demagnetization, resulting shorter current tail faster demagnetization. But, applying higher has impact on amplitude at point of Therefore, control algorithm designed apply modulated motor phase, minimum change rate beginning linear average during interval. Accordingly, mitigation occurring commutation prevention simultaneously over wide speed range. simulation experimental results demonstrate system’s positive effect amplitude, grid side quality, SRM performance range variations.
